Aircraft Data Integration & Management

Different Recorders, Different Formats, Repeated Manual Processing
Aircraft data may arrive in different binary formats and from different recorder architectures. Operators need a reliable aircraft data integration layer that converts and routes flight data to safety, maintenance and operational systems without repeated manual processing.

Validated Flight Data, Delivered Where It Is Needed
Data conversion
Convert supported raw files into usable downstream formats.
Data preparation
Split multi-flight files where configured and remove supported unwanted spikes.
Controlled routing
Send copies of incoming data to the airline server, the preferred flight data monitoring (FDM) / flight operational quality assurance (FOQA) provider and FDT analysis services, as configured.
Operational visibility
Monitor incoming flight files and data-delivery workflows through WebPortal.

The Aircraft Data Integration Workflow, From Recorder to Airline Systems
- Flight files arrive from the configured WQAR (Wireless Quick Access Recorder, or uQAR) or another agreed source.
- WebPortal monitors incoming files and routes them according to the customer workflow.
- ArCon/FDT processing converts and prepares the data where required.
- Validated output is delivered to XpressA, the airline server or supported third-party systems.
Conversion, Flight Splitting and Spike Removal
- Supported functions may include 12-bit to 16-bit conversion, flight splitting and configured spike removal.
- Integration requirements depend on source format, aircraft data frame, server environment and target system.
Interfaces Defined During Integration Planning
Interfaces are specific to each customer and aircraft. Technical implementation is confirmed during integration planning.
