Flight Data Events

Flight Data Events

After selecting the file to analyze, you have to select the magnifier icon.

This simple selection gives you direct access to the list of events, which have been automatically processed during uploading relative to the aircraft tail number configuration.

You can notice on the left menu that you are currently visualizing the events of the current selected flight.

Flight information appears on the top, below the top menu of XpressA™ and the Flight time information.

You can notice that events are displayed with different color backgrounds (green, yellow, and red).

Remove Irrelevant Events

During the automatic processing of Flight Data, some events may appear with fallacious incident occurrence. The user could write a comment to indicate why it can be discarded.

To remove an event, just uncheck the box for the corresponding event in the real column. When an event is removed by unchecking the box, the particular event will not be printed when exporting the event list but will still exist in the database.

Add Comments

The right column of the event list allows the user to enter respective comments and the comments will be stored in the database.

Keep in mind that when removing an event, in other words, unchecking the box, and typing a comment, the user will be prompted with the following pop-up window:

“After pressing yes the record in the database Will be updated…”

To confirm changes, press “OK” and to discard the changes, choose “Cancel”.  This window indicates, that after making changes to the event, there is no way to revert to the original state. If the user made a comment and mistakenly unchecked an event, the only way to undo thechanges after pressing “OK” button in the pop-up window is to reupload the same flight into XpressA. The flight will be recognized as already existing one and will be overwritten in the database over the old one. To re-upload a flight, a User should have Administrator privileges in the XpressA.

Print Event Report

You can also choose to print in portrait format by checking the portrait box on the top of the screen.

Note that the Printing option also allows to remove non-relevant or false events from the report. If the user unchecks a specific event in the events list and then generates a print report, the unchecked event will be automatically removed from the generated report, but still be present inside the database.
